Nursery & Garden Industry Victoria (NGIV) is the member-based, peak body for the horticulture industry in Victoria, Australia.
My graphic design work for NGIV involved creating promotional graphics, including an annual report and flyers and and infographics for organisational events. I also redesigned a logo for one of their internal brands, the Victorian Schools Garden Program
The Victorian Schools Garden Program
Now a NGIV subsidiary, the Victorian Schools Garden Program (VSGP) supports environmental education in elementary schools. Established in 1977, Each year VSGP offers grants, awards, professional development workshops for teachers, and school garden incursions to help foster a love of gardening amongst young people.
As part of a brand refresh, I redesigned the VSGP logo. The goal was to retain recognisable elements of the old logo but modernise it to ensure brand longevity. I created a simple design and increased cohesion with the NGIV brand by using similarly styled illustrations and brand colours.
